DS Racing represented Central Illinois SCCA and the Champaign County Sports Car Club taking the 1st place trophy in ESP by a margin of 4.7s!! Included in the action, was a wild spin that landed me about 2ft away from a curb. The site was a nice size but the course was fast and the freshly paved asphalt was VERY slick and made for an exciting day!
Philip places 5th at SCCA Solo National Tour at Peru, IN
The National Tour was a lot of fun. I met some great people and some awesome reacers. This event being my first national tour event ever, I was happy placing 5th outrunning a Mach 1 mustang and a 2004 GTO. The winner was the person that placed 2nd at the nationals last year so there was no catching him. I learned that much wider tires and some differentials were defintely going to be required to be nationally competitive. I learned a lot and the goal was to not be last, so mission accomplished!
Philip places 1st at GASS Cendiv Divisional in Rantoul, IL
My first divisional race was an extreme success by placing 1st over two z28 camaros. Although the camaros were not fully built, it was definitely a horsepower favorable track so the handling of the subaru was there and managed to out corner the z28s to take the win. Data aquisition showed that "Betty" is now pulling approximately 1.24 lateral gravity forces in a turn too! The handling of the CUSCO suspension and the Hoosier tires have definitely made this car come alive!

Alot has changed on the off season and I've been a busy busy man. The decision to follow my dream of going to Topeka has been made and preperations are being made. There will be a lot of practice and hard work going into this year's racing efforts.
Knowing what it will take to be competitive at the nationals, I've gained the help of two great sponsors; Nukabe-CUSCO and TurboXS.
